What's YOUR mood today?
These Grotesques are strong facial gestures stimulated by transitory moods. I first made this series of Grotesques as a way of creating a positive interaction between my studio and the people on the street outside. I decided to cast an open edition of these faces at this smaller scale so that they could also work in interior spaces to remind us of the transitory nature of our moods. These pieces also show some of the faux finishes available from Hungry Thumbs Studio. The sculptures are available in two sizes; 5" high, and 14" high, widths vary.
