I, Ken Clarke,
live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada

I sculpt.
I make figurative sculpture. I'm currently engaged in a commission to make a series of cast concrete sculptures for the Italian Gardens in Vancouver. Other work includes a lifesize Grizzly Bear, and a series of Grotesques.
A sculptor in clay spends thousands of hours working the clay with his fingers and thumbs. This makes an appetite and joy for this work that is expressed by the phrase “Hungry Thumbs”. This is why I call my studio:
